From now on, <\/em><strong>fribourg.swiss<\/strong><em> replaces \u201cFribourg Network Freiburg\u201d as the flagship identity to promote Fribourg\u2019s economic dynamism in Switzerland and beyond. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>Today, the FDA unveils its new external communication brand, aimed at showcasing Fribourg\u2019s economy outside the canton and across international borders: <strong><em>fribourg.swiss<\/em><\/strong>. Replacing \u201cFribourg Network Freiburg,\u201d this new identity reflects a more direct, accessible, and impactful positioning for the agency\u2019s target audiences.<\/p>\n<p>Short, instantly understandable, and supported by the official \u201c.swiss\u201d domain, the new name immediately positions Fribourg within the realm of Swiss excellence. It now appears across all channels targeting external audiences: the official magazine, an English-language LinkedIn account, and both a trilingual newsletter and website, the latter bearing the exact same name as the brand \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fribourg.swiss\/en\/\">www.fribourg.swiss<\/a>. The FDA brand, meanwhile, remains the reference for institutional communication in French and German (LinkedIn), as well as across trilingual platforms such as the website and newsletter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A \u201cStrategic Showcase\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWith <\/em><strong>fribourg.swiss<\/strong><em>, we have a strategic showcase of Fribourg\u2019s economic excellence to the outside world,\u201d<\/em> says Jerry Krattiger, Managing Director of the Fribourg Development Agency. Designed as a complement to the \u201cFribourg \u2013 Land of Values\u201d positioning, this new brand highlights the companies, research institutes, educational institutions, and centers of expertise operating in the canton.<\/p>\n<p>The topics covered \u2013 bioeconomy, Industry 4.0, technology transfer, construction, life sciences, and more \u2013 reflect the strength and diversity of Fribourg\u2019s economic fabric. Content is shared both locally and internationally, through Swiss embassies, consulates, and economic development agencies, as well as professional networks across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is twofold: to raise Fribourg\u2019s profile beyond its borders, while also strengthening internal recognition and shared awareness of its economic assets.<\/p>\n<div style=\"border: 1px solid #000; background-color: #f9f9f9; padding: 15px; margin: 20px 0; color: #000; line-height: 1.6;\"><strong style=\"display: block; margin-bottom: 15px; font-size: 1.1em;\">2025 Edition \u2013 A Special Anniversary Under the Banner of Prestige <\/strong>For the 25th edition of its official magazine, the FDA will celebrate Fribourg\u2019s excellence with a special issue titled <em>Fribourg WOW!
